Most policies I review have $100,000 in liability coverage. Sounds like a lot… until it isn’t. 😬

A slip and fall, a dog bite, a kid getting hurt on your property. A serious car accident where you’re at fault. Medical bills and legal fees add up fast. And if a judgment exceeds your coverage limit, everything is fair game. Your wages, your home, your savings, your assets.

If you're house shopping, I'll do a little sleuthing for you and run a loss report on the home. Just recently I let a potential buyer know that a house they were considering had a prior water loss with over $20,000 paid out in insurance and it was never disclosed by the seller.

Many insurance companies are currently not writing policies for homes with prior water claims. Farmers is one of the few still allowing them, and I'm here to help.
