✨Big Beautiful Bill Overtime Tax Deduction✨

**Eligibility is based on FLSA status, not your job title, and many people are assuming they qualify when they do not. 💰

**For 2025, this deduction is not automatically shown on the W-2, which means it can easily be missed or misapplied. Employers will reflect OTPREM in Box 14 for 2025 and in Box 12 for 2026💰

**The IRS clarified that only the required overtime premium counts, not your full overtime pay. 💰

**There are income limits and filing status rules that will disqualify some taxpayers. 💰

🚨New IRS Changes That Affect You

With the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) taking effect, here’s what taxpayers need to know:

1️⃣ Later Filing Season
The 2026 tax season will start Feb. 16 (Presidents Day) instead of late January.

👉 Refunds may come later, so plan ahead if you rely on early refunds.

2️⃣ Direct File Eliminated
The free IRS Direct File program used by 140,000 taxpayers in 2024 is gone.

👉 For now, you’ll need to use paid software or a tax professional to file.
