Across our branches today, our employees wore gray to help raise awareness for Brain Tumor and Brain Cancer Awareness Month.

At Bank & Trust Company, community means supporting one another through every season of life. Today, we wear gray in support of those fighting, those remembered, and the families impacted by brain tumors and brain cancer.

Bank & Trust Company is proud to recognize three outstanding local students selected as recipients in this year’s Community Bankers Association of Illinois (CBAI) Scholarship Program! 🎓💙

Each student received a $500 scholarship from Bank & Trust Company in recognition of their achievement and essay submission.

🏅 Josalyn O’Brien – Carlinville High School
🏅 Milla Anderson – Hillsboro High School
🏅 Brooke Braasch – Litchfield High School

This year’s essay theme asked students: “How Has Your Local Community Bank Impacted You or Someone You Know?”

We are also excited to share that our students received additional regional recognition:

✨ Josalyn O’Brien received Group 9 First Place and an additional $1,000 scholarship from CBAI
✨ Milla Anderson received Group 9 Second Place and an additional $500 scholarship from CBAI

Investing in local students means investing in the future of our communities, and we are proud to celebrate these students and their accomplishments.

Last week, we had the honor of hosting the Lincolnwood Class of 2026 at our local branch for our annual Senior Luncheon.

This special tradition gives us the opportunity to celebrate our local students, recognize their hard work, and wish them well as they prepare for the exciting journeys ahead.👏

We loved being able to provide lunch, spend time with the students, and share financial literacy resources to help encourage confidence as they take their next steps — whether that’s college, careers, or somewhere in between.

From future college students to young professionals, this group has so much to look forward to — and we couldn’t be more excited to cheer them on.
