✈️ Traveling with a Medicare Advantage plan? Here’s something important to know!
If you have a medical emergency while traveling in another state, go to the nearest ER—even if it’s out of your plan’s network.
Medicare Advantage plans cover emergency care outside of their normal network, so finding an “in-network” hospital should NOT be your priority during an emergency.
🏥 **Get the care you need first.**
Once you’re stable, contact your Medicare Advantage plan so they can help coordinate any additional care, since network rules may apply again for ongoing, non-emergency treatment.
Travel confidently—and keep your insurance card with you! ❤️
