Not all heroes wear capes… some bring coffee. ☕️
Yesterday, I somehow made it to late afternoon without my first cup of coffee. As a working mom, that should’ve been my first warning sign. 😅
I was rushing out the door to a workshop I was co-hosting when I got distracted by my kiddos, reached for my car key, and spilled my entire coffee all over my ONLY blazer.
And my shoes. Literally every pair somehow.
I wish I were kidding. 🫣
With no time to deal with the mess, I cleaned up what I could and headed out the door. My husband took one look at the coffee crime scene and said, “I’ve got this. You need to get going, rockstar.” MVP behavior. 👏🏼❤️
On the drive, I voice-texted one of my fellow workshop hosts to let him know why I’d probably be arriving a little flustered and a tad late.
When we all arrived and set up was almost complete, he handed me a coffee he’d picked up on the way.
Such a small gesture.
But it perfectly captured what I’m most grateful for about this community.
Not the referrals.
Not the networking.The people.
The people who pay attention. The people who step in without being asked. The people who make a hard day a little easier.
The workshop itself was a reminder of that too. Watching incredible professionals from different industries collaborate and support one another reinforced why I’m so grateful for the community we’re building.
In a world that talks a lot about networking, I’m grateful for relationships rooted in trust, generosity, and showing up for each other when it matters.
And if you ever need help beyond health insurance, chances are I know someone I’d be proud to connect you with.
Because the real value of a strong community isn’t just what people do… it’s how they show up for each other. ✨
