Picture this: morning mist still settled over the jungle canopy. The kind of quiet you forgot existed. A whole week with nowhere to be except exactly where you are.

This is where your 2027 begins.

Not in a January resolution you'll abandon by February. Here — with space to actually think, women who understand exactly where you're standing, and enough stillness to finally hear what you've been too busy to ask yourself.

March 11–18. Six days that could change how you walk into the whole year ahead.

🌴 Costa Rica Wealth & Wellness Retreat, March 2027 — only 6 seats. Link in bio.

Sherri Combs shared something powerful on We Can Do It Women that's stuck with me. Crisis can turn into chaos, or it can turn into calm — and it all comes down to having a plan. 🌿

Businesses have plans. Families need them too. We're often comfortable planning for what happens after we die, but we shy away from talking about what happens before that — the lead-up.

And here's the thing: even if you already have a long-term care policy in place, your family is the one who has to actually execute it. So don't keep them in the dark. Bring them into the plan, before it's needed.

💬 Does your family know your plan, or is it something only you know about?

Every February the financial industry announces Financial Literacy Month and tells women to go be more literate. Read more. Take another course. Come back when you have studied up.

Forty eight years in this work and here is what I have actually seen. The women I sit with are not uneducated. They run households and businesses and other people's payrolls. What nobody ever gave them is a straight answer to the question they have, at the moment they have it.

So they google it at eleven at night, read a stranger's very confident opinion on a message board, and close the laptop feeling worse than when they opened it.

On 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯 𝗮𝘁 𝟲𝗽𝗺 𝗘𝗧, I am doing the opposite. A free live masterclass called 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻' 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝘂 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. One hour, on Zoom.

You will leave knowing what your first move is, what can wait, and how to tell which of the three types of financial advisors is actually obligated to serve you.

I hear some version of this almost every month.

Women come in carrying so much — the comparison, the "I should already know this," the quiet embarrassment about questions they've never felt safe asking anywhere else. And then something shifts. Not because the numbers changed overnight. Because they realized they were never actually behind. They were just doing it alone.

That's the real work of this community — not just teaching financial skills, but helping women let go of a story that was never true in the first place.

👇 What would you want to feel walking in?

Here's my longstanding philosophy, tested through decades of coaching women through grief, financial uncertainty, leadership, and reinvention: 🌿

Women don't build confidence by waiting until they feel fearless. Confidence gets built through intentional choices, made one at a time. Which means agency isn't a lightning bolt moment — it's not one big, dramatic transformation.

It's a daily practice. It's showing up, choosing, and doing it again the next day.

💬 What's one intentional choice you're making today, even without feeling fearless?

This Hispanic Heritage Month, I want to celebrate something specific: the Latinas who didn't just build success — they built lasting financial legacies.

Different industries. Different eras. Same throughline: they didn't wait for permission to take their finances seriously.

Swipe through and meet five women whose stories still have something to teach us about intentional wealth.

I'm honored to be a contributing author in the Los Angeles Tribune Leadership Anthology, Book One!

My chapter, "Leadership Through Adversity," takes you back to September 11, 2001, when I was asked to give 9/11 survivors a year of pro bono financial help with no playbook to follow. I share what it took to guide widows, a widower and a 12 year old through grief and life changing money decisions, because I didn't lead with all the answers. I led because they needed me to.

This book brings together leaders, entrepreneurs, visionaries and change-makers who believe leadership is measured by who we become and the impact we leave behind.

The book just launched, and you can still get your FREE copy here:

I'm proud to add my voice to this extraordinary collection. We're stronger together.

Do you know most women's idea of financial security is simply reaching some finish line — their "number"? Countless books have been written about it. I have them all on my bookshelves, and I've read them. 🌿

But I've distilled decades of boots-on-the-ground financial planning experience into 4 milestones. Master these, and financial security follows.

1️⃣ Radical Responsibility — take responsibility for where we actually are, and lay good foundational bricks on which everything else builds.

2️⃣ Understand the Risks — analyze which risks we'll assume ourselves, and which we'll pass on to an insurance company. This step matters more than people realize.

3️⃣ The Truths About Money — dispel the lies. There have been so many, and they've cost women entire groups of zeros in lost wealth over the years.

4️⃣ Bring It All Together — tax strategies, investment ideas, legacy planning, all woven together so you achieve true financial independence.

Join me. This is the roadmap. 💛

💬 Which of these 4 milestones feels most urgent for you right now?

Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month — and I want to celebrate something specific: the Latinas who have built real, lasting financial legacies, often without a blueprint to follow.

They didn't inherit a playbook. They wrote one.

And just as important as their individual wins is something else worth celebrating — the women, the mentors, the communities that held them steady while they built. Because no legacy is built alone. Not theirs. Not yours.

This month, and every month, we celebrate both: the women who rise, and the community that rises with them.

💬 Who's a Latina who's shaped how you think about money, strength, or legacy?

Fall is harvest season.

Not just in the garden — in your finances too.

Think back to January. What did you plant? Maybe it was a new budget. A retirement contribution you finally increased. A commitment to stop avoiding your accounts and actually look at them.

Whatever it was, it's had months to grow quietly in the background, whether you were paying attention or not. Fall is a good time to check: what's starting to show?

Sometimes the harvest isn't obvious yet. Sometimes it's small. But it's there — and it's worth noticing.
