HHB 2/138th Family Support

HHB 2/138th Family Support We are a Family Support Group for the family and friends of the soldiers for HHB 2/138 out of Lexington, KY.

We are here to help, support and be there for each other through our upcoming deployment. We want this site to be a supportive place for families to come to if they need anything - someone to watch the kids, mow the lawn, etc...as well as for family and friends who need to talk, just want to know someone understands, or to see what other people are up to. It is also for soldier's - if you need any

thing from home let us know and we will do our best to get it to you. Also - if you know of a soldier who is not getting mail (or much of it) and care packages - please send us a personal message with their address/info and we will make sure to get them something sent off fast! ***PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ON THE WALL - NAMES, DATES, LOCATIONS, ETC SHOULD BE SENT IN A MESSAGE*** We will check facebook daily and take care of anything we can!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We are truly thankful for the safe return of our soldiers and for having our heroes back home for this holiday! God bless you all and know that we are thankful for you!!!

Hello everyone! I hope that this message finds you well and enjoying your holiday season. Thanksgiving is upon us and soon after will be the Christmas Dinner (brunch)...I hope that we will see you all at the brunch...where Santa will be hanging out and we will have great food as well as a Yellow Ribbon ceremony. If you have questions about dates, times, dress, etc please inbox us and we will get you the details you need! We all hope to see you there!

Hello all! I hope you are doing wonderfully and having a great time with your soldiers. My family and I have just gotten done with a Family Strong Bonds event...at the Center for Courageous Kids in Scottsville, KY. It was a great weekend...if any of you would be interested in more information on Strong Bond events please let me know! They have them for couples, couples with kids, and singles...please let me know!!! Great experience! (Kristen)

The FRG would like to welcome back the first round of soldiers who have come back to KY (or whatever state they are from) this past week! We have two more rounds of soldiers that will be coming home in the next couple of weeks - so we still wish safe travels and happy reunions! It has been a long journey for us all, but we have made it through. We would like to thank you all for your support and remember we are still here if you need anything! Just because the deployment is over (or almost over for some) doesn't mean the FRG isn't still here! There are many things that can happen after deployment and questions that you might have. Please feel free to post on here with questions, private message us, or give us a call. God bless you all and HOOAH
