We are thrilled to announce that we have been greenlit for Authors in the Bluegrass 2028! Please note that this is currently a date announcement only, and we will share more details as they become available. Please tag, share and repost this with your book loving friends!

Event: Authors in the Bluegrass
Official HASHTAG —->
Dates: October 6–7, 2028 (A two-day signing event. VIP ticket holders receive entry both days; General Admission is all day Saturday and ADA will have access to early entry.)
Location: Central Bank Center, Exhibit Halls A/B/C (430 West Vine Street, Lexington, KY)
Ticket & Hotel Information: Will be released later this year and hotel details will follow in the new year.

How many have you attended??

2028 will be our fourth event. We started in 2017 at the UK football stadium!! It’s been a crazy ride but we aren’t going anywhere.

We do not have a date yet and are working with our venue to secure that by this summer!!

If you are interested in working and volunteering at our event, please sign up. We are looking for experienced Volunteers only.

You are volunteering to work. We do give you time on Friday evening and close to the end on Saturday to sign a long with breaks through the weekend.

🔵 AUTHOR - NARRATOR - VENDOR 2028 INTEREST FORM 🔵

The INTEREST form has been opened back up. If you filled this out in the past, please do it again just in case. We do delete duplicates.

Again thank you for showing interest in our event, once we have a date we can get the ball rolling.

We always save the first 2 weekends in OCTOBER for Authors in the Bluegrass, so please block those dates out for us!!

🔵 Authors in the Bluegrass 2028 🔵

I had a meeting with Centeal Bank Center in April. I am on hold currently for October 2028 dates as all are currently taken but no contracts have been signed.

I have given them a deadline to let me know if we need to look elsewhere for 2028 because I have to start sending invites this summer.

Just wanted to give an update!!!

🐎📚🥃 THINGS COMING 🥃📚🐎

- reactivating the author interest form, tag your authors or have them sign up once that is live. This form is for Author, Narrators and Vendors. (if you have signed up you are good but never hurts to do it again!) the links will be in here on Friday and on our socials. I am getting organized now!!!

- volunteer sign up form going out soon, keep an eye out this weekend.

- we plan to do a two day event: set up Friday, Friday evening VIP event at CBC & event on Saturday. With the crazy that was 2024, this needs two days for set up & organization for this organizer!

- listen to feedback from previous years, we hear you!!!

- Please join the Ateendee group on Facebook as news goes there first, then socials!!
