If you are interested in working and volunteering at our event, please sign up. We are looking for experienced Volunteers only.

You are volunteering to work. We do give you time on Friday evening and close to the end on Saturday to sign a long with breaks through the weekend.

The INTEREST form has been opened back up. If you filled this out in the past, please do it again just in case. We do delete duplicates.

Again thank you for showing interest in our event, once we have a date we can get the ball rolling.

We always save the first 2 weekends in OCTOBER for Authors in the Bluegrass, so please block those dates out for us!!

I had a meeting with Centeal Bank Center in April. I am on hold currently for October 2028 dates as all are currently taken but no contracts have been signed.

I have given them a deadline to let me know if we need to look elsewhere for 2028 because I have to start sending invites this summer.

Just wanted to give an update!!!

🐎📚🥃 THINGS COMING 🥃📚🐎

- reactivating the author interest form, tag your authors or have them sign up once that is live. This form is for Author, Narrators and Vendors. (if you have signed up you are good but never hurts to do it again!) the links will be in here on Friday and on our socials. I am getting organized now!!!

- volunteer sign up form going out soon, keep an eye out this weekend.

- we plan to do a two day event: set up Friday, Friday evening VIP event at CBC & event on Saturday. With the crazy that was 2024, this needs two days for set up & organization for this organizer!

- listen to feedback from previous years, we hear you!!!

Since we are not doing an event in 2026, I was thinking of a AITBG Romance Book Camp where we get together as readers and rent out an AIR BNB in Pigeon Forge, TN.

You would bring your own food, snacks and drinks
We would be on our own schedules
Play games at night
Read during the day
Relax by the pool (yes there is a pool)
End the weekend with a blind book exchange
This is a SUMMER getaway!

I have hosted one of these in 2015 with 36 Readers/Authors in attendance. Pretty sure this is where MAX MONROE got their start 😉 WINKS!!! We did breakfast and lunch at the cabin and dinners out.

Pigeon Forge is amazing and so much fun, this is more of a book camp to relax and enjoy​ a nice getaway.
Not a lot of planning from the AITBG TEAM, we are planning the stay on this first one!

If this goes well, we will plan more fun and organized events for future events. We just want to test the water.

By signing up this does not guarantee you will be selected. We will go through the interest list this fall and contact you in December!! If we have a lot of interest we can plan for multiple dates!!!
