I wanted to let everyone know that Braxton is doing great! ♥ He has about 3 doc visits per week for now, but he is full of energy and full of smiles!! Also, GIANT THANKS to everyone who has participated in the MealTrain.com for his family. They appreciate is SO, SO much! Braxton went to the ER last night & was med-flighted to Cinn. May be internal bleeding, but they did not do surgery like she had thought may happen as of last night. They have given him 3 units of blood & he was doing a bit better as of 4pm. That's all I know. For those that are signed up for the MealTrain, please continue with the plan for Ambria and Brysen. There are still dates available if more want to volunteer to bring a meal, just follow the link on the BfB page. Prayers please♥ Thnx ~Christy

Hey Folks! This is Michelle's friend, Christy Collins. Braxton is home and he's doing great! Michelle is still crazy busy catching up at home/work & coordinating his after-care. I would like to invite friends & family to help Michelle by preparing some family meals over the next 6-8 weeks. Braxton is on meds that make him HUNGRY! And he needs to minimize processed foods & eat more home cooked meals. So I am asking for some ready to eat meals a few days a week and/or frozen casseroles/crock-pot meals that she can put in the freezer for future use. I would love for her freezer to be stocked for quick meals when we are done delivering the prepared meals. Prayers needed for a very special donor family that has lost one of their own and given Braxton a second chance at LIFE!! Yes! THERE IS A MATCH FOR BRAXTON!!!!!!!!! He will be going into surgery any minute. Praise God!! Please keep the donor family, Braxton, and his family in your prayers! What a difference registering to be an organ donor can make!!

Braxton is out of surgery things went well. It will be a while before anyone can see him will post another update at that time. Keep the prayers coming they are what truly keeps Braxton and his family coming!

Braxton is Always supporting Henry Clay Basketball no matter who is with!!!!

Henry Clay Blue Devils will take on the Lafayette Generals on Friday at the Franklin County Convention Center at 6:30! All of the players and cheerleaders will be wearing shirts in support of Braxton and will be passing out green ribbons and bracelets in support of organ donor awareness! There will also be representatives from KODA to register you to become an organ donor! Braxton may not be sitting on the bench as usual bet his team will be surround by his spirit!! If you can't make it there the game will be live streamed on ihigh.com. Braxton and his entire family have been so overwhelmed with the support of the entire Henry Clay Staff and students and can not thank them enough for standing behind Braxton and his cause!! HENRY CLAY BLUE DEVILS BATTLE 'TILL WE WIN!!!!

I apologize for the delay on updates on Braxton we have been experiencing problems with our page. To put everyone up to speed Braxton was taken to emergency surgery on Friday due to a bowel obstruction. They did not have to remove any of his bowel but did remove some scar tissue. This surgery caused Braxton to lose his dialysis line and a temporary one was put in place. The first one did not work so a second was placed. When they began dialysis yesterday they were not able to use the replaced line but after some adjustments did get it started and Braxton was able to receive Dialysis last night!! Today he is sitting up a little and is able to have REAL FOOD!!!! The next step for Braxton is to move on to the Cincinnati where they will perform another procedure so that Braxton will be able to get hemo dialysis as the lines here are only temporary. Please pray for Braxton and his family and remember that if everyone was a registered donor Braxton would not be here fighting for his life!!
