New connections. New conversations. New possibilities. 🤝

One thing I’m learning to appreciate more and more is the value of simply meeting people and getting to know their story.

Whether it leads to a business relationship, a referral, a friendship, or just a great conversation, every connection matters.

I’m looking forward to meeting more people in our community, building genuine relationships, and seeing where those connections take us.

🏡 **One thing being 50+ has taught me: good relationships aren’t built overnight.**

At this stage of life, I’ve learned that showing up, listening, communicating and being someone people can count on matters far more than having the perfect sales pitch.

And I’m bringing that same mindset into my mortgage career.

When I connect with Realtors, I’m not interested in walking into the conversation asking, **“What referrals can you send me?”**

I’d rather ask:

**What can I bring to the relationship?**

Maybe it’s being a resource for a question.
Maybe it’s helping educate a first-time buyer.
Maybe it’s introducing you to someone in my network.
Or maybe it starts with a cup of coffee and a conversation. ☕

Starting a new chapter professionally after 50 has reminded me that experience doesn’t always come from a job title. Sometimes it comes from decades of working with people, raising a family, changing careers, solving problems and learning how important it is to simply follow through.

So, Realtors, I’m curious:

✨ **3 Things You Might Not Know About Me** ✨

I spend a lot of time talking about mortgages and helping people navigate homeownership, but there’s a lot more to my story! Here are three things you may not know about me:

📚 **1. I’m a self-published children’s book author!**
I’ve written and published several children’s books, and they’re available on Amazon. Writing has always been one of my creative outlets, and I love knowing my stories are out there for families to enjoy.

❤️ **2. I’m a mom of three.**
Being a mom is one of the biggest parts of who I am. I’ve spent years supporting my kids and all of their different interests and activities. Right now, I’m especially proud to wear the title of **Theatre Mom** for my youngest! 🎭

🏫 **3. I used to work in an elementary school.**
Before mortgages, I worked as an **elementary school library clerk and special needs paraeducator**. Both roles taught me a lot about patience, communication, problem-solving, and meeting people where they are—skills I still use every single day.

Life has taken me through a few different chapters, and I’m pretty proud of every one of them. 💕

First day of school started with a BANG! 💥📚⛈️

Apparently, Mother Nature wanted to be part of the back-to-school excitement today—and she had a LOT to say! 🌧️🌳

Between the rain, wind, and downed trees, this morning was a reminder that sometimes the first lesson of the school year is simply: expect the unexpected! 😂

Hope all of our students, teachers, school staff, and families made it through the morning safely. ❤️
