Members of AgriSompo traveled to Washington D.C. to attend the final session of the Crop Insurance and Reinsurance Bureau’s (CIRB) 2026 Leadership Development Program. Over a three-day period, the team met with more than 45 congressional offices on both sides of the aisle to educate lawmakers about CIRB’s farm bill polices. These efforts were especially timely given that the House is set to take action on the farm bill very soon.

In addition, the team also met with Risk Management Agency Administrator Pat Swanson and her team to discuss industry updates.
