Primary Vision Care Services, an Oklahoma company, was founded in 1993. The vision benefit plan was created to serve those individuals not receiving eyecare due to financial reasons. PVCS has served over 93,000 members and has over 800 providers/locations (optometrists and ophthalmologists in the network. Several components make our vision benefits plan unique: 1) one plan 2) eye exams as needed

which means no limit on the number of doctor visits per year 3) no co-pay 4) unlimited number of prescription glasses can be purchased at wholesale 5) contacts at wholesale and annual supply 6) affordable 7) doctors and brokers are generously compensated for services rendered. Our staff has a combined 107 years' experience with the vision benefits plan and our customer support team is stellar. When a member, provider or broker calls us, they will speak to a live person in our office because we believe in quality customer service. The PVCS plan is considered to be a Direct Care Plan by the Oklahoma Insurance Department.
