An updated Plan Document and Summary Plan Description (SPD) will be coming out in September. We encourage all members to review it, as it will include important information about your Health & Welfare benefits and Plan provisions.

Heat can turn dangerous fast. Knowing the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke could save a life.

Whether you’re on a construction site, at a jobsite, or spending time outdoors, take heat-related symptoms seriously. Watch for the warning signs, stay hydrated, take breaks when needed, and keep an eye on the people working alongside you.

If you suspect someone is experiencing heat stroke, call 911 immediately. Looking out for one another is one of the most important safety tools we have.

Administrator Samantha Griffieth and Assistant Administrator Lesley Osborne recently had the opportunity to attend the Hello Heart Circulate Conference in Charleston.

The conference provided valuable insights into innovative ways to support members’ health and wellness through preventive care and heart health initiatives. Samantha and Lesley enjoyed learning from industry leaders, sharing ideas with other benefit professionals, and bringing back knowledge that can help strengthen the services provided to our members.
