One thing I find fascinating about markets is how quickly the narrative changes.

In 2024, Bitcoin at $66,000 had people excited.

In 2026, Bitcoin at $66,000 has many of the same people nervous.

Same asset.

Same price.

Different narrative.

Meanwhile institutions continue to buy.

Funny how that works.

As Warren Buffett famously said:

“Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.”

The market changes.

Human behaviour doesn’t.

Choice only you can do that

Yes.

The strongest part of the visual isn’t really the chart.

It’s the idea that fear and greed arrive at exactly the wrong time.

I’d blend that into the post.

One thing I’ve learned over the years.

Greed tells people this time is different.

Fear tells people this time it’s over.

Both sound convincing.

Neither tends to be right for very long.

Interesting how greed often shows up near the top.

And fear often shows up near the bottom.

The market moves in cycles.

Human behaviour moves with it.

The people who understand that tend to move differently.

Or my favourite version:

One thing I’ve learned over the years.

Greed is loud.

Fear is louder.

I’ve watched both convince intelligent people to do some very unintelligent things.

Interesting how greed often appears near the top.

And fear often appears near the bottom.

The market changes.

Human behaviour doesn’t.

That’s why the people who understand the cycle tend to move differently.

Something I’ve noticed over the years.

Some of my best ideas haven’t come from a boardroom or staring at a screen.

They’ve come from moments like this.

A bit of space.

A bit of perspective.

Funny how stepping away from the noise often helps you see things more clearly.

People ask me :
Where the future is being built ?

Sometimes it’s at a Bitcoin conference.

Sometimes it’s in an AI boardroom.

And sometimes it’s over a martini in London.

Technology changes.

Human nature doesn’t.

The biggest opportunities still come from conversations, relationships, and being in the rooms where decisions get made.

With all the places I go to around the world, I realise some places are just different.Week has flown by !

You feel Old Trafford before you even walk through the gates.

Going there now after seeing what Carrick has done made it even more special. Shows what leadership, belief and standards can still create.

The walk up.
The noise.
The first look at the pitch.

Still surreal.

You can build new stadiums.
You can spend billions.
But history and legacy cannot be bought.

Good memories with the old man. 🔴

Most people spend their lives trying to suppress ambition, intensity or obsession.

I think that’s usually where the edge comes from.

The goal isn’t to remove the dragon.

It’s learning how to control it.

Some people are built with a different level of intensity.

That can become dangerous…
or very powerful.
