How much are Closing Costs to buy a home? 🤔💵🏡

🔑 closing costs: Think of them as the 'welcome to homeownership' party! 🎉 These are the fees for services that make your home officially yours!

You’ve probably heard: “usually 3% off the purchase price of the home”
So a $260K Condo would have $7,800 in closing costs and a $550K single family home would have $16,500 in closing costs…?! big discrepancy….
In order to calculate the “closing costs” for a property, it’s important to understand what all is considered a “Closing Fee” or a “Pre-paid fee” and how much should each be based on: property type and location📍

⭐️ Closing Costs: one time fees, examples: lender fee, title fees, appraisal,
⭐️Pre-Paids: upfront payments for mortgage related expenses before they are due: home insurance, property taxes, HOA fees (when applicable).
