Sometimes the little comments hit differently.

Today, another lender friend told me I have a nice office. Simple compliment, but it meant a lot because having a local branch and a space where I could meet with clients, work alongside my team, and build something here in Las Vegas has been a goal of mine for a long time.

And this week was a good reminder of why that matters.

I closed a loan for a disabled veteran who prefers to handle things in person. He and his wife came into our office multiple times throughout the process, and I was able to meet him at his signing. Having a place where they could sit down with us, ask questions, bring in documents, and feel supported made the process easier for everyone.

I love the flexibility this career gives me, including the ability to work remotely. But I’m also really grateful to have a place people can walk into when that’s what they need.

It’s one of those little moments that reminds me I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. 🤍

One of my favorite little Instagram features is being able to share music in Notes. Sometimes it’s a new song I just discovered, sometimes it’s the vibe of the day, and sometimes I just connect Spotify and let you see whatever happens to be playing on my drive.

Sharing music has always been a little bit of a love language for me. There’s something about finding a song that hits and immediately wanting someone else to hear it too.

So when I share one here, it’s really just another small way of sharing a piece of me with you.

Today in our branch meeting, we talked about something that probably doesn’t get said enough: this business is hard.

There are loan officers and Realtors out there working every day to stay educated, learn new programs, keep in touch with their clients and partners, figure out social media and AI, grow their businesses, and in many cases, help other people grow theirs too.

So if you know someone doing that work, share their name.

Tell your friend, neighbor or coworker, “I know a great Loan Officer” or “I know a great Realtor.” Refer them when the opportunity comes up. Engage with their content. Share their post.

Those small things matter more than you probably realize.

For those of us who are out here doing all the things, continuing to learn and trying to genuinely be a resource for people, we appreciate every person who chooses to work with us, refers us, or simply helps someone else find us. 🤍

There are a lot of things you can change about a home over time.

Cabinets, flooring, paint, landscaping, even the layout in some cases.

What you can’t change is the location.

When you’re shopping for a home, it’s worth thinking beyond how it looks today and paying attention to the things that will matter long term: the neighborhood, commute, schools, surroundings, and how the area fits your life.

The house can evolve. The location stays.
