I know. I get those annoying texts too. Telling me I have free money to borrow and to call now. There is no such thing as free money. But unclaimed funds, there is PLENTY. Tried my best to reach Mary. She was owed $22,354.53. By the US Government.

As you can imagine, the government doesn’t give you long to collect the money before it’s “escheated”. You can google this term. It’s real. The government makes MILLIONS DAILY.

They won’t make much of an effort to contact you either.

I had to remove her from my list because the window of time given to recover has expired.

This is the hardest part of the job. About $80,000 forfeited today alone.

These days, more than ever the people need financial relief. Some people are waiting for a $1200 check but have thousands in unclaimed funds. Some people even more. I had a claimant I contacted a few weeks ago regarding some money we found for him and he told me he had already collected it.

There was only a few days left before the government got to keep ALL of it.

Honestly, I was just glad he got his money before it was cheated to the government.

Today I was updating my lists. His money was NOT claimed after all. These days people are so skeptical of good news he told me he collected it- just so I’d stop calling.

It cost him THOUSANDS of dollars.
