⭐️ August Instructor spotlight– Liliana ⭐️

Q: How long have you been teaching with SOMA?
A: I have been teaching with SOMA for about 2 months. I just recently joined for this summer season.

Q: What is your favorite thing about SOMA?
A: My favorite thing about SOMA is helping kids feel confident in the water and seeing their happiness when they see their own improvements.

Q: Do you have a favorite sport?
A: I have been playing water polo for several years and really enjoy the sport.

Q: How long have you been swimming?
A: I started swimming as a Pup for the Sleepy Hollow Sea Lions when I was 5 and have been swimming ever since

Q: What’s your favorite thing about the water?
A: I love being in the water because it makes me feel free and relaxed. I also love the sense of community that has come from swim and water polo.

Q: How long have you been taking lessons with SOMA?
A: 2 years

Q: What is your favorite memory moment in swim lessons?
A: My favorite memory is when I could swim from the wall to the lane line.

Q: What swim lesson are you currently in?
A: Level 2

Q: What is your favorite thing about water?
A: The water is warm and there are always so many people.

Q: What is your favorite activity to do outside the pool?
A: My favorite activities are baseball, art, playing with my friends, and playing with dolls.

Q: What is your favorite color?
A: My favorite colors are pink, purple, gold, and silver.

Q: What dreams do you have for yourself when you grow up?
A: I want to be a nurse or a police officer.

Fun fact: I can swim, and I’m the best sister to everyone! And I love taking care of younger kids.
