I’m trying to get over my attitude with the city of Lakewood—the property I bought was so overgrown and hidden by shrubs etc that were a real eye sore; so I hired some local “landscapers” not arborists to remove it all and give us a blank slate. Now the city is trying to tell me that the rhododendrons were trees and not shrubs and a permit was required. Who knew? I have never considered them to be a tree. The guy takes a photograph of a 2 yr old online image and gives me the name of the tree as his phone identifies it. Seriously? This is how we do it? So now what? He says have an arborist or landscape architect identify it. With what? The sod and everything was removed. I applied for the dang permit. Unbelievable how anyone can justify keeping a business from moving forward on something like this. Let’s see where this drama leads…I am not in the mood for games

No trespassing signs installed
Fenced and gated, but still being cased for some reason. And it’s getting worse by the day! This person is being searched for by Lakewood PD.
