One more day of horsepower at Lake of the Ozarks. 🏁🚤

Shootout 38 Race Day #2 closes out an incredible week of boating at the Lake today.

After a week of street parties, incredible boats, Demo Day, the Poker Run and two days of racing, tonight the attention turns to the competitors and teams at the Shootout Awards Ceremony.

But what we love most about this week goes beyond speed.

Events like the Shootout bring people to the Lake.
They support local businesses.
They bring boaters together.
They create traditions.

And for a lot of families, they create another chapter in a lifetime of memories made on this water. ⚓

Thanks to everyone — organizers, racers, volunteers, emergency personnel, businesses and spectators — who helps make Shootout Week happen.

Race Day #1 of the 38th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is here.

Some of the fastest boats you’ll see all year are taking to the Grand Glaize Arm, with Dog Days serving as Race Headquarters.

The weekend is about horsepower and speed — but it’s also one of the events that puts Lake of the Ozarks in front of boating enthusiasts from all over the country.

The Poly Lift LOTO Shootout Poker Run runs from 9 AM–7 PM, sending participants across Lake of the Ozarks to stops at some very familiar Lake destinations.

And THAT is one of our favorite things about events like this.

It’s not just about the boats.

It’s the whole Lake experience — cruising from place to place, meeting people along the way, supporting waterfront businesses and spending a full day on the water.
