Hey guys! As the new year rolls and you decide that you want to better your health by going to the gym, I would like to remind you of a couple things!
1. We all start somewhere; even the biggest dude in the gym was exactly where you are now.. he just didn’t stop. And neither will YOU.
2. Don’t be intimidated; now this lesson will be as a sort of a tough love lesson from me, given with love. So read this well, NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU. In reality no one is looking at you, or if you’re doing the exercise wrong.. or if you look a certain way! Most of us have our own battles and are too disctracted to care. So go HARD, but not too hard or you won’t go back the next day😂
3. This one is important! Don’t go too hard the first week, I want you to keep going, so don’t kill yourself the first couple of days, most go hard the first day, then are too sore to go the next and you never go back! Let your body get used to the environment and the loads! Take more time in stretching and doing the movements you want with lighter loads.. your ligaments grow slower than your muscles, so let them catch up.. then you go HARD!
4. This is YOUR YEAR; we got this.. and if we don’t, we figure it out. Excuses are the highest form of disrespect to yourself. Discipline is the highest form of respect for yourself. Respect your decision and hold them with accountability and integrity!
