Even a hummingbird—the busiest creature in nature—spends roughly 80% of its day perched on a branch. Despite its reputation for constant motion, it understands that its high-performance work is only possible because of its discipline to rest.
We often fall into the trap of thinking that constant activity equals constant progress. But high-octane output requires intentional recovery. If you don't make time to "perch," you eventually lose the energy to fly.
