Ever since the first deposit was taken in 1919, Citizens Bank & Trust Company of Grainger County (CB&T) has strived to provide fast, personal service with a hometown touch. We have grown with the County and its residents, achieving these important milestones:

•September 12, 1967 - Bean Station Branch Opened
•August 24, 1972 - Blaine Branch Opened
•October 17, 1988 - Washburn Branch Opened
•Novemb

er 1994 - Relocation of Rutledge Location to 8335 Rutledge Pike
•April 17, 2000 - Cherokee Branch Opened
•August 2006 - Expansion of Rutledge Location
•November 2007 - Relocation of Bean Station Branch To 1131 Highway 11W

With hundreds of years of combined work experience at CB&T alone, our employees work hard at providing our customers with a full range of desirable banking products and services. The employees are also as diligent outside of the workplace. Many of our employees regularly participate in community enrichment and needs-based programs, such as the United Way and the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. CB&T is locally operated in Grainger County, Tennessee. Most of our employees have lived in the County their entire lives. Moreover, important decisions that affect our customers are made by individuals that live and work in the County. These community ties allow us to identify with our customers. URGENT - Please Be Aware!
We have had a handful of calls about a telephone scam – call appears to be from AEC and demands immediate payment by credit card, given a number to call to make payment and threatens electrical disconnect. AEC DOES NOT call our members to demand money over the phone. We encourage our members to NEVER give personal information to anyone they cannot completely identify. We encourage members to get a name of any caller and then hang up, and call AEC’s local number to inquire about any account concerns. Please do not fall victim to these scams.
