🚨 SCAM ALERT: Spoof Calls Targeting Members 🚨
We are seeing reports of fraudsters impersonating UT Federal Credit Union in an attempt to steal debit card information. These scammers may call from what appears to be our phone number and ask for your card number, PIN, one-time passcodes, or other sensitive details.
🔍 What is a spoof call?
A spoof call is when scammers fake a phone number to make it look like a trusted organization—like UTFCU—is calling you. These calls can sound convincing, but they are not legitimate.
⚠️ Important reminder:
UTFCU will NEVER ask for your debit card number, PIN, or secure access codes over the phone.
📞 If you receive a suspicious call:
• Hang up immediately
• Do not share any personal or account information
• Contact us directly at (865) 971-1971 or through Digital Banking
