Annie Lybarger, You will always be a part of Annie's Hope - The Center for Grieving Kids! We will be forever grateful for you.

We need 17 male camp counselors for our June week of camp. Every male counselor means we can accept three more boys.

Know male teachers, college-age men, fraternity brothers, neighbors, grandsons, church young men, men who control their own schedule, men who grieve a death since childhood, men who work for companies who value volunteerism? We need them all!

Please direct them to learn more at www.AnniesHope.org.

Annie’s Hope was privileged to present on a local news channel, KSDK’s “Show Me St. Louis,” to discuss children’s grief and the continued efforts to support kids and their families with the programs and services at Annie’s Hope. Follow the link to watch now!

The holidays are here. Excited or anxious?

Have you ever thought about how to provide genuine support to a grieving friend? This November, we are committed to flipping the typical grief scripts and, together, finding phrases to use when supporting someone who is grieving.

Instead of “I bet this time of year is hard for you,” try ➡️ “Holidays can be hard after someone dies. How are you feeling about [holiday, anniversary, birthday]?” In general, it’s not helpful to assume how people are feeling. Respecting the individual means asking them.

To learn more about grief during the holidays, view the NACG Holiday Toolkit at https://indd.adobe.com/view/c3379af8-b35d-4ea3-aa85-92d43073ecf6.

You ALWAYS come through for Annie's Hope! We need an RN for the paid role of nurse at Camp Courage - Teens. It is three weeks away ... June 10th - June 16th and we still do not have the nurse position filled for our 72 campers. It's first aid, TLC, distribution of common meds, and TONS of joy!

PLEASE share with EVERYONE you know ... on and off social media. If you are interested, please reach out so we can explain more and explore how your expertise, time, and energy can help the kids.

WE CAN DO THIS! Thank you tons! www.annieshope.org
