CZECH/SLOVAK GENEALOGY MEETING
Saturday, June 3, 9:30 am.

Please join us on June 3 for a special program: One of Mike Mecham's friends, Paul Neutz, will share interesting stories about growing up in Czechoslovakia. He is of mixed Czech / German descent. He had German-Czech relatives who involuntarily had to "move" to Bavaria after the war. Paul was born in a little village in rural Czechoslovakia in what was part of the Sudetenland back in the day. He grew up in Prague and ultimately immigrated (maybe fled) to the United States in 1989 before the wall came down in Eastern Europe. Paul will share info about German / Czech / Sudetenland history, Czech / Slovak differences, etc. etc.

We'll also continue with DNA: Part 2, so bring any results of your tests or questions about DNA analysis and how it can help find relatives.

We’ll also have our usual round-table sharing of successes and challenges.
If you have a laptop and projector set-up, please bring it. Lots of DNA info is on the internet and that would make it much easier to access.
Hope to see you at the meeting! And bring treats to share if you can.

Everyone is welcome!
