The End Domestic Violence Task Force is excited to share an important update!

Jennifer Radcliffe, formerly with The Purple Door, has officially stepped into the role of Executive Assistant for the End Domestic Violence Task Force.

Jennifer has been a valued part of the Task Force since the beginning, and we’re thrilled to have her taking on this expanded role. Over the next six months, she will help move our mission forward in several key ways—including guiding us through the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status so we can pursue additional grant funding.

She will also be leading the development of our Survivor Assistance Program, which we’re planning to launch this summer, along with supporting other initiatives we’ve been building behind the scenes.

Please join us in welcoming Jennifer into this new role—we’re excited for what’s ahead!

This week is National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, a time to recognize the incredible professionals behind every 911 call—our dispatchers, the “first” first responders.

While we often see police, fire, and EMS on the scene, it is dispatchers who are the first calm voice in moments of crisis. They do far more than answer phones. They listen—not just to the caller, but to the background sounds, the urgency, the details that others might miss. In seconds, they assess complex situations, determine what resources are needed, and coordinate life-saving responses.

Their ability to stay composed under pressure, make split-second decisions, and guide callers through emergencies saves lives every single day.

This week, we honor their dedication, skill, and unwavering commitment to public safety. Thank you to all dispatchers for being the steady voice when it matters most.
