💡 Did you know?!

Most health insurance cards — whether through your employer, Medicare plan, or individual health plan — can be added right to your phone’s digital wallet.

That means your member ID card is handy when you need it at the doctor, pharmacy, urgent care, while traveling or even if out and about without your belongs --emergencies happen usually with the worst timing, but we all usually always have our cell phone.

✅ Simple
✅ Secure
✅ Convenient
✅ One less thing to dig for in your purse, wallet, glove box, junk drawer… you know the one. 😉

And here’s a little shout-out to those of you with parents on Medicare: this could be really helpful for them, too. They may not know this option exists — or may just need a little help getting it set up on their phone.

Your physical card is still important, but adding the digital version gives you a great backup when life happens.

Is the life insurance through your employer enough?

It might be a great start — but it may not be the whole plan.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median employee tenure was 3.9 years in January 2024. And only about 10% of wage and salary workers had been with their current employer for 20 years or more.

In other words, the old idea of working at the same place for 30 years and retiring with the same benefits package is not exactly the norm anymore.

That matters when your life insurance is tied to your job.

Employer-provided life insurance may be helpful, but ask yourself:

✅ Would this coverage be enough to replace my income?
✅ Would it cover the mortgage, rent, debts, childcare, or final expenses?
✅ Would my family still be protected if I changed jobs, retired, or lost access to that benefit?
✅ Do I know whether I can take the coverage with me?

Work life insurance can be part of your safety net, but it should not always be the whole safety net.

Jobs change. Benefits change. Life changes.
Your family’s protection should not depend entirely on an employee benefits package.

Not sure where you stand? That is exactly the kind of question worth asking before life forces the conversation.

Employer life insurance can be a great benefit. 🛡️

But for many people, coverage thru an employer is the whole plan—it should only be just a start.

Employer plans never offer enough coverage.

Coverage through work often is limited, and it may not follow you if you change jobs, retire, or lose access to that benefit.

That matters because life keeps moving:

💼 Jobs change
🏡 Mortgages happen
👶 Families grow
🧾 Bills keep coming
❤️ People depend on you

This is why it is worth understanding what you have, what you may be missing, and whether your coverage still fits your real life.

No pressure. Just education so you can make confident decisions. 💬

Life insurance is one of those things people hear about all the time… but may not fully understand. 🛡️

At its simplest, life insurance is a policy that can provide money to the people you choose if you pass away.

That money may help with things like:

🏡 Mortgage or rent
🧾 Everyday bills
🚗 Car payments
🎓 Future education costs
💛 Giving your family breathing room during an already difficult time

It is not about expecting the worst.

It is about making sure the people you love have options, support, and time to grieve without immediately worrying about how to keep everything moving.

Education first. No pressure. Just clarity. 💬

May is full of fresh starts. 🌱

Graduation season. New jobs. New homes. New babies. New goals. New chapters.

But one thing people keep pushing off?

Life insurance.

Not because they do not care — but because it feels like something they can handle “later.”

The problem is, life insurance is usually easier and more affordable when you are younger and healthier. And relying only on coverage through work may leave gaps if your job changes, your health changes, or life changes faster than expected.

This month, I will be sharing simple, real-life education to help make life insurance feel less overwhelming and more understandable. 💬

No pressure. No scare tactics. Just the information more families should have before they need it.

Planning for the future looks different for everyone — but protecting the people who count on you is always worth the conversation. 🛡️

A little peek behind the scenes of my afternoon ☕💻📚🐶

A lot of people see the appointments, phone calls, and paperwork side of this work, but there is also a whole other side that happens in the background. Today that looks like me on the couch working through continuing education on ethics and compliance so I can stay current, informed, and able to guide my clients the way they deserve. ✅

It may not be the most exciting part of the job, but it is one of the most important. This work carries a lot of responsibility, and I believe the people who trust me for guidance deserve someone who takes that seriously. ❤️

So for today, it’s me, the couch, a class on ethics and compliance, Ryan relaxing on the other couch after a week of travel, and the dogs curled up enjoying a relaxing day right along with us 🤓🛋️🐾

Yesterday’s ice storm was no joke—but today’s risk is what’s riding on top of your vehicle.

Take the extra few seconds to clear it off. A flying chunk of ice can shatter a windshield—or worse.

A small delay now can prevent a life-altering moment later. Stay safe out there.

🦃 Gratitude looks good on all of us.
Today I’m leaning into a full-on attitude of gratitude—and yes, it pairs perfectly with stretchy pants.

This season, I’m especially thankful for every client who trusted me to walk alongside them as their insurance guide, educator, and sometimes unofficial life-strategist. Your stories, your goals, your families… they’re the reason I show up with purpose and stay laser-focused on delivering real value all year long.

As we all gather around tables filled with food, laughter, and maybe a few “spirited” family debates, I hope you find space for rest, reflection, and connection.

Wishing you and your loved ones a day full of joy, safety, and all the small moments that make life feel big. 🍂✨

If you need anything as we head into the final stretch of the year, I’m only a message away.
