Let’s be real… NOBODY wanted to do family photos but me. 😂
BUT a few months ago, Mark made the mistake of saying, “We don’t have any new family pictures.”
Sir. You should’ve kept that thought to yourself. 💀😂
I’m pretty sure he thought I was just going to print a few pictures off Facebook.
NOPE.
I booked the photoshoot.
Bought everyone new outfits.
Planned the whole thing.
Got everyone dressed and out the door.
And honestly, I thought THAT would be the hard part.
Then we got there. 🤡
Apparently my children forgot how to listen, how to stand still, AND how to use the beautiful NORMAL smiles I know they have. 😂 Every time the camera came up, it was basically:
“JOKE’S ON YOU, MOM!” 😬🤣
The entire time I’m thinking, “This is an absolute s**t show.” 😂
But Missy Holloway 📸 was AMAZING and had the patience of a saint with our circus, and Monika absolutely killed it getting all the behind-the-scenes videos—which I’m sure will be even funnier than the actual photos. 😂
I KNOW there are going to be some beautiful pictures in there, and one day I’ll look back and love that they captured exactly who we are in this season of life…
CHAOTIC. LOUD. SLIGHTLY UNCOOPERATIVE. BUT OURS. ❤️
And don’t worry, family…
The joke is actually on YOU.
Because if these pictures don’t turn out, I’ll simply be booking family photos EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH. until we get it right. 😌📸😂
