Sad post. An acquaintance of mine just lost her husband. She is left with 3 children and no life insurance policy. My heart breaks for her and her loss; my heart breaks for her even more that she now must bear the full financial burden going forward without the help that would have come had her husband had a life insurance policy in place.

Please ask your spouse this question: “Do we have life insurance policies in place that will not leave either of us or our children desperate?”

If the answer is: “No”, then take steps immediately to get something in place. I don’t honestly care where you go to get it, just get it. Paul and I can give you quotes as well if you want. No pressure, no obligation, just information to help you make this life-saving/advancing decision.

I do ache for my friend as she lost her best friend. I did contribute to her financial needs. It’s a mere drop in the bucket. I wish, instead, that I could have walked through her door with a half a million dollar check to give her to help her and her children move forward in life financially.
