Important Information Regarding COVID-19
Here at KC Irrigation, both our customers and employees safety and health remain our highest responsibility. We'd like to pass along this information regarding our polices during these troubled times.
We are classified as essential needs as outlined in the Stay at Home order issued by the CORE 4 and other metro area jurisdictions, and as such, we will remain open operating under their guidelines.
Under these guidelines we are operating under the polices outlined below:
1. Face to face contact is to be minimized, and social distancing to be practiced. We request that upon arrival of the technician at your house, to open the garage door so we can access the controller. If the water turn on is in the basement, we would like to help you turn the water on for us while we remain outside. We can call your cell phone and help walk through turning on the water. We then can test the system as normal after the water is turned on. If the water turn on is outside, we will turn on as normal.
No technician is allowed inside a home to turn the water on. If you have concerns turning on your system with our verbal help, or your controller only accessible inside the house, we request your start up appointment be made at a date after the Stay at Home order has been lifted.
2. Technicians will be disinfecting the controller after testing and programming is completed.
3. We are required to maintain a 6 foot distance from anyone, so any questions regarding your system, please don't hesitate to email or call us prior to your appointment.
4. Prior to your scheduled appointment, we will be contacting you to ensure that no person in your house(or our technician) is ill or feeling under the weather or have any symptoms relative to COVID-19. We ask this so we can do our part in being responsible in minimizing the exposure and spread of this virus. If you have any illness, we request you to postpone your appointment until after your symptoms have gone away for 2 weeks.
5. We have also instructed our technicians to increase the frequency that we clean our vehicles, and wash our hands. We have also implemented a strict illness policy for our employees. If they are unwell for any reason, we are requiring them to stay home from work. While we don't anticipate any changes to our schedule resulting from it, it may be a possibility. We have always prided ourselves in maintaining our schedule, these times require diligence from everyone.
6. We request all payments be made via our online portal at this time. There is a link to pay your invoice in the emailed invoice. You may also visit us at kc-irrigation.com, click the customer hub link on the top of the page, and follow the prompts and you’ll be able to access your account online and request service or quotes, as well as see and pay your bill.
Our schedule is going to start filling up, so take a moment to contact us to schedule your time. We recommend that you send us an email with two or three dates and times that you will be available to have us come out. We will do our best to get you scheduled during one of those times. Allowing us access to a garage code to access the controller helps if we are running ahead of schedule, or if you're not able to be home at the time of the appointment. If you have already scheduled your appointment, no need to call.
Thank you for your continued patronage, and working with us to help do our part in minimizing the spread of this. Should any circumstance change, we will let you know.
Please e-mail us at [email protected] , or call 913-406-0670 to get on the schedule.
