Reviews like this one mean the world.

Picking the right plan during pregnancy can feel overwhelming. There are deductibles, networks, prenatal coverage, labor and delivery costs, and a brand new baby on the way. Susan’s whole job is to take the weight off your shoulders so you can focus on what matters most.

Insurance shopping shouldn’t feel like a second job.

Open enrollment, marketplace plans, networks, premiums vs. deductibles - there’s a lot to sort through and most people only do this once a year. Susan does it every day. Let her cut through the confusion and match you to the right plan the first time.

Here’s something your health plan may already cover and you might not even know it:

Under the ACA, most Marketplace plans are required to cover a wide range of preventive services at $0 cost to you: no copay, no deductible, even if you haven’t met your yearly deductible yet.

That includes things like:

āœ… Annual wellness exams
āœ… Cancer screenings (mammograms, colonoscopies & more)
āœ… Vaccines & immunizations
āœ… Cholesterol & blood pressure screenings
āœ… Diabetes screenings
āœ… Mental health & substance use counseling

The catch? These services need to be provided by an in-network provider to be covered at no cost. And not all plans are the same.

This is exactly why knowing what’s in your plan matters and why having an agent who actually reads the fine print is so valuable.

Not sure what your plan covers? Let’s find out together.

Here’s something that surprises a lot of people. šŸ‘‡

If you buy your own health insurance, whether you’re self-employed, between jobs, or just don’t have coverage through work, there’s a good chance you qualify for financial help you don’t even know about.

The ACA Marketplace isn’t just for people who can’t afford insurance. It’s for anyone who needs coverage outside of an employer or government plan. And depending on your income, subsidies can make a serious dent in what you pay every month.

We help people find the right Marketplace plan every single day. Sometimes the savings are small. Sometimes they’re life-changing.
The only way to know is to ask. 😊

Not sure if the ACA Marketplace is right for you? Here’s a quick breakdown. šŸ‘‡

The Health Insurance Marketplace (also called the ACA Exchange) is where individuals and families who don’t have employer or government coverage can shop for a health plan.

You might qualify if you:

āœ… Are a U.S. citizen or legal resident
āœ… Don’t have access to affordable employer coverage
āœ… Aren’t eligible for Medicare or Medicaid
And here’s the part most people don’t know: depending on your household income, you may qualify for subsidies that significantly lower your monthly premium. Some people pay as little as $0/month.

Enrollment happens during Open Enrollment (Nov–Jan) but qualifying life events can open a Special Enrollment Period year-round.

Missing your Medicare enrollment window isn’t just a headache, it can cost you every single month for the rest of your life. šŸ‘‡

Most people don’t realize that enrolling late comes with permanent premium penalties. And permanent means exactly that… they don’t go away.

The rules around timing are more nuanced than people expect. There are exceptions, but even those have fine print that can trip you up if you’re not careful.

The simplest way to avoid it? Don’t go it alone.

We walk every client through their enrollment timeline so nothing gets missed! No penalties, no surprises.

If you’re on Original Medicare, there’s something important you should know that most people don’t find out until they get a bill. šŸ‘‡

Original Medicare doesn’t cover everything. Deductibles, copays, and coinsurance can add up fast… that’s where a Medigap (Medicare Supplement) plan comes in.

Medigap helps cover what Medicare leaves behind:

āœ… Hospital & doctor copays
āœ… Part A & B deductibles
āœ… Coinsurance costs

It’s not right for everyone, but for the right person, it’s a game changer.
