Roua's KnitWorks Roua's KnitWorks is a hobby, I started selling things because I didn't need 50 hats laying around and there seems to be a market for handmade gifts.

Roua's Knitworks is mostly custom made hand knit gifts. Prices: The reason I don't set a specific price on custom orders is the wide range of yarn costs. A skein of acrylic yarn can go as low as $5.00, whereas some of the nicer wool or alpaca yarns are up to $30.00 a skein. So each item needs to be priced individually to the customers desired cost and material. Most things listed are priced for la

bor costs then add the cost of yarn. I typically charge $2.00-$2.50/hour, so I'm not making very much money, I just try to recoup a little of my time and make you a product you can enjoy for years to come.

Roua's KnitWorks is temporarily out of business and out of stock. The house burned down, and we don't have any supplies. Thank you for being great followers and customers. I'll let you know when I'm back on my feet. In the meantime please keep your fingers crossed that Ms. Roua herself got out of the house and is hiding in the woods.

This is a really pretty pattern that is easily done in two colors, but is also beautiful as one. This was given a a holiday gift for 2013. It was made with a variegated purple bamboo/wool/silk blend and a periwinkle blue wool. It isn't too early to custom order 2014 holiday gifts, especially handmade ones!! What a great way to spend your tax return money ;)
