Ready Kids For School - Jefferson County WI Ready Kids aims to provide needed school supplies and resources to families that are experiencing a financial hardship to pursue educational success!

Ready Kids for School was started as an outreach ministry for the city of Jefferson by Immanuel Church UMC in June of 2002. We found that we were duplicating efforts of Human Services. We mutually agreed that our goals would be better accomplished by joining forces. In August of 2002, we joined together and made it a county-wide project. In just three weeks, under the leadership of Dave Mattoon, w

e were able to serve 205 needy children. In 2013, we served over 724 children throughout the entire year. We need YOUR HELP! This is an investment in the future of America. Education is vital and the supplies the teachers request are necessary. Donations can be sent to:

Can you believe that Back To School is just around the corner? Mark your calendars for this year's Distribution Event and spread the word. August 9, 2025 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Jefferson High School in Jefferson, WI. No supplies will be available after this date. New this year, NO PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Spread the word to all those in need. Looking forward to seeing you on August 9!

Special thank you to a recent donation from MaryAnn Gleisner who honored her son, Grant's birthday. Due to his public service out of country, she wasn't able to send a gift directly to him, so she made a donation to RKFS in his honor.
