Florida Capital Bank was proud to attend Celebrate the Children, powered by Disney, last week — an unforgettable evening dedicated to supporting life-changing programs for more than 15,000 youth and teens across Central Florida. ⚡

Representing FLCB at the event were Dawn Taylor, Retail Executive, SVP; Shelley Stewart, VP/Market Manager; and Beth Touchton, VP, CRA Officer and Third Party Risk Officer.

The evening was filled with incredible energy, inspiring stories from Club members, and a powerful reminder of the impact that strong community partnerships can make. We were honored to join fellow community leaders and supporters who are helping provide safe spaces, mentorship, and opportunities that empower young people to reach their full potential.

What an incredible morning celebrating Orlando Magazine’s 2026 Women of the Year! ✨

Florida Capital Bank was honored to be part of such a meaningful and inspiring event surrounded by so many accomplished women making a lasting impact throughout Central Florida. The energy in the room was truly amazing, and hearing the stories, achievements, and experiences of this year’s honorees was incredibly inspiring to everyone in attendance.

The event was beautifully emceed by Tammy Fields — evening anchor with Spectrum News 13, Emmy Award–winning host of *Justice for All*, and a past Women of the Year honoree herself — making the celebration even more special and inspiring.

A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Orlando Magazine for hosting such a memorable celebration and for allowing us to be part of it. We truly enjoyed connecting with community leaders and building new relationships throughout the morning.

We were also proud to share a sweet treat at our table — delicious toffee from Rethreaded, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring survivors of human trafficking by providing employment, training, and ongoing support.

🎉🏇 Our Jacksonville team had an amazing time celebrating Derby de Mayo — our fun-filled combination of Derby Day and Cinco de Mayo! 🌮✨

Team members across the company joined in on the celebration with a festive hat contest and a creative horse decorating competition featuring departments from Headquarters and our branches in Tampa, Gainesville, Orlando, and Jacksonville. Each team brought their own unique style and personality to their horse, and the creativity did not disappoint! 🎨🐎

Of course, no celebration is complete without great food! We enjoyed delicious charcuterie boards from Jason's Deli along with chips, salsa, and queso from TacoLu to keep the fiesta going 🌶️🧀
