POSSIBLE INSURANCE INCREASES!!!!!!

As a licensed insurance agent in NC, I can understand the frustration of a POSSIBLE increase in Homeowners Insurance. This will not effect wind & hail only the fire portion of your insurance. The average price for the whole state of NC is 1400 per year, this includes wind & hail for a $250,000 home. If a home was to be a total loss from a fire, the insurance carrier pays for the house, contents, somewhere for you to live while your house is being rebuilt, and incidentals. For a $250,000 home that is a total loss, the insurance carrier will pay on average $425,000. At $1400 per year, it will take them 300 years to break even.
