We often heard that Time is Money, and our time and money can be invested wisely or wasted on wrong decisions.
My first paycheck was earned as a bank teller in Haiti, and I remember thinking about what to do with that money. I right opened a savings account to put any extra money aside and of course, spent it on some goodies.
Six years ago, after moving to the US, I got my first job there, and let me tell you when I got that first deposit, I cried. Not really about the amount in itself, but about the work, the training, and the struggles to fit in my new environment.
From 2003 to now, I have always navigated in the financial field whether in banking, accounting, retail, or financial coaching and bookkeeping services; I have seen that money will always be the tool for decisions on investing, saving, spending, and giving habits.
Reading that article below could be eye-opening for many of you regarding your time and money.
Will you agree or disagree with the author: "We Don’t Buy Things with Money, We Buy Them with Hours from our Life"?
He also adds that "The money we earn is ours to keep and we can spend it as we wish. But it can be a helpful exercise to realize how many hours of our lives go into each purchase we make. - And it is always wise to remember we can spend our hours pursuing items of far greater value than material possessions."

This is a life-changing principle. When we begin to see our purchases through the lens of exchanging life, rather than dollar bills, we begin to fully appreciate the weight of our purchases.
