O’Hare Logistics is looking for an experienced and dedicated Freight Broker Sales Agent to join our team. This person should possess outstanding sales experience, honed customer service skill and passion for technology, new systems, and innovative business solutions. Agent’s Responsibilities/duties:
• Educating customers about our shipping solutions
• Conducting research on customers that have a need for our services
• Qualifying prospects for size, complexity, and overall fit for our company
• Manage current customers while developing relationships in order to grow customer base.
• Professional collaboration and coordination with shippers, carriers and dispatchers.
• Handle all operations and communication with customers and carriers
• Set up meetings with shippers to sell truckload and other brokerage services.
Requirements:
• ****Existing book of business is a must.****
• Computer literate: Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
• Knowledge of TMS brokerage software
• Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Attitude of teamwork / Can do Attitude
• Strong background in Truckload and LTL transportation.
• Extremely organized and detail oriented
• Must possess a strong work ethic
• Able to meet deadlines with accuracy and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills fluent in English required. (Multiple languages a plus)
EDUCATION:
• College Degree Preferred
• Minimum 2+ years experience in logistics, sales, or a related field required
