I just walked the room tonight in Tarrytown.

And I’m telling you right now, this is probably the coolest looking mortgage event I’ve ever seen.

Huge thank you to B&L Appraisal for bringing me up to New York to be part of ReFinance Summit.

What Chaim and Moses built here is special.

Not just because of the speakers.
Not just because of the energy.
Not just because the room looks beautiful.

But because every detail feels intentional.

As I walked around, Chaim pointed out that there are outlets everywhere because he knows everybody in this room is in business, and your phone battery is only going to last so long.

So they thought ahead.

Chargers.
Charging blocks.
Food.
Drinks.
Views.
Comfort.
Flow.
Places to connect.

Every effort has been made to make people feel cared for.

And you can feel it.

This is not one of those events where you show up and feel stuck in a corner having awkward conversations.

This feels open.
Welcoming.
Alive.
Built for real connection.

It feels like a place where business gets done because people actually want to be there.

That says a lot about the people behind it.

I’m proud of my guys.
Proud of Chaim.
Proud of Moses.
And proud to be here with B&L as Director of Business Development.

Tickets are $400.

But my friends get in free.

So if you’re my friend and you want to come check us out in Tarrytown tomorrow, come on. Come on. Come on.

Come check us out.

Who wants in?

Here’s a slightly smoother version of that last part too, in case you want it to read a little cleaner:

Tickets are $400. But my friends get in free. So if you know me and want to come check us out in Tarrytown tomorrow, reach out tonight and come be part of it.

I think about business the same way I think about a garden.

Everyone has to eat.
But not everyone understands where food actually comes from.

Some people walk into a garden and see fruit.
They pick what they can and leave.

Others see the garden itself.

That single difference explains almost everything I’ve observed in business.

If you see fruit:
You think in transactions.
You optimize for speed.
You worry about getting your share before someone else does.

If you see a garden:
You think in systems.
You pay attention to soil.
You understand that nothing keeps producing unless it’s cared for.

Here’s the part most people never realize:

People who grab fruit aren’t bad people.
They’re just operating from scarcity.

They don’t know how to grow food, so they rely on taking it.

Gardeners are different.

They wake up thinking:
• What needs water?
• What’s being overworked?
• What isn’t getting enough sunlight?

They understand that their role isn’t extraction.
It’s stewardship.

That’s how I’ve always approached business relationships.

When I meet someone, I’m not thinking:
“What can I get from this person?”

I’m thinking:
• Would this belong in my garden?
• Does it make the environment stronger?
• Will this still be healthy five seasons from now?

Some plants grow fast and exhaust the soil.
Some look productive but attract pests.
Some produce well but choke out everything around them.

Experienced gardeners don’t get emotional about this.
They simply don’t plant them.

Over time, something predictable happens.

The garden starts to feed the gardener.
Not because it owes him—but because that’s how ecosystems work.

That’s the part people feel but can’t articulate.

Business isn’t about taking fruit.
It’s about becoming someone worth growing around.

Once you see business this way,
you start noticing who’s cultivating—
and who’s just hungry.
