✨ DFCU Flashback Friday ✨
What a week it’s been across Dakotaland! 🤩
👏 We kicked things off by celebrating Emily Brueggeman and Ellie Eichstadt on graduating from Leadership Huron. Their class project helped raise funds for Huron’s Helping Hands Food Pantry & Thrift Store, making a meaningful impact in our community.
☀️ Then it was full speed into Youth Week fun!
🎣 Mitchell reeled in smiles with their Lucky Duck Fishing Derby.
🍦 Huron cooled off with Scoops, Floats & Fun.
⛳️ Brookings brought the adventure with mini golf and a scavenger hunt.
🏊 Watertown made a splash with Splash & Scoops, complete with free ice cream during the swim break.
😎 Volga soaked up the fun during Night at the Pool.
🧸 Woonsocket kept the excitement going all week long with Financial Bingo, arts and crafts, and even a stuffed animal sleepover at the branch.
🍧 And to wrap up an incredible week, our Huron team served refreshing sno cones during Thursday Night at Campbell Park, proudly sponsored by Dakotaland.
Thank you to our amazing employees, members, and communities for making every event one to remember. We love creating moments that bring people together. 💚

The SD Central Chapter of Credit Unions held a prize raffle to raise funds for the United Way Heartland Region. They recently presented the monetary donation to Executive Director, Jen Bragg. This fundraiser is just one of the many ways the Chapter demonstrates a collective commitment to making a positive impact for our communities!

The mission of the United Way Heartland Region is to improve lives and advance the common good by connecting community resources with community needs. United Way works to advance the common good by focusing on the basic building blocks of Health, Education, and Financial Stability for everyone in our region.
