My husband and I know and work with a lot of RE Agents. Some are very buttoned up - others are disasters.

One example: an agent asked my husband’s company to do some work on a property he was transacting. The agent never paid - and we are now going to place a lien on the property in order to get paid for work done.

So the homeowner is not going to be too happy when they get the certified letter tomorrow.

That said: if you are thinking of buying/ selling - reach out to one of us, we’d be happy to recommend a few great / honest agents. Don’t fly blind - it’s an important transaction.

Mortgage rates moved even lower last week, after setting multiple record lows over the last several months. That caused more borrowers to call their lenders and apply for a refinance, but it did not motivate homebuyers quite as much.

Had a very smart homeowner do a cash out refinance. He was able to lower his rate and extract about $200k to make his next savy investment. Smart guy! Great day!

Just closed a cash-out refi for veteran. He got a better rate, better terms and a nice check where he will put that money into the property and probably double the original value at some point soon..
