Karen Aldana Women rarely have the time to stop and think about the future. You need to think about it hard and be able to really picture it.

Helping Black women secure life insurance, protect their families, and build income helping others do the same | Book a Clarity Call

📅 https://link.karenaldana.com/widget/booking/tuzln7WDbVzJ83SiyddZ We are always running around, making things happen, taking people places, putting things in order…
We also need to put our own things in order and think about the future where our time is no longer o

bligated to others but ours to spend. Otherwise, you are not going to do what it takes to get there. I knew a woman who had a vague idea she needed to save for retirement, so she used a little red checkbook to stack it with bills for future dreams and goals. She also had something in a savings account, but the “money book” was her go-to means of saving. I asked her: What do you want to do when you're retired? It took her some time to start thinking about traveling and even opening a clothing store. I did the math and showed her she wouldn’t be able to cover all of those dreams by putting money in a book. I also calculated how much less money and time she would need to invest in a proper financial strategy. This is how she became a client of mine. Give me a chance to do the same calculations for you and show you how your future is accessible with small changes you could make today. Book a call: https://calendly.com/kaaldana

If you’re a Black woman with income and responsibilities and you’re not 100% confident your family would be financially okay without you—this is your sign.
Book a clarity call.
We’ll identify the gaps and decide what makes sense.
No pressure. Just the truth.

02/12/2026

No one plans to get sick.
No one plans to pass unexpectedly.
But families pay the price when planning is skipped.
Protection is an act of leadership—not fear.
If this hits close to home, don’t ignore it.

02/11/2026

“Let me think about it” is usually code for:
• Overwhelm
• Fear
• Avoidance

Clarity doesn’t come from thinking longer.
It comes from looking at the numbers and deciding.
That’s what clarity calls are for.

Employer coverage is not a plan.
It’s temporary.
It’s limited.
And it disappears when the job does.
If your protection is tied to employment, your family’s security is fragile.
That’s not fear. That’s math.

This message is not for everyone.
If you’re uncomfortable talking about money, death, or responsibility—scroll past.
But if you’re a Black woman who knows your family depends on you and you don’t have a real protection plan yet, we should talk.
Ignoring risk doesn’t eliminate it.

One thing I see over and over:

Smart, capable Black women who are excellent providers—but dangerously underinsured.

Not because they don’t care.
Because no one explained the gaps clearly or forced the decision.

Clarity changes behavior. Comfort doesn’t.

“I’ll get to it when things slow down.”

They won’t.

There will always be another bill, another priority, another reason to wait.

Protection doesn’t happen when life gets calm.
It happens when someone decides to lead their finances instead of reacting to them.

01/28/2026

Waiting on life insurance is expensive—just not in the way people expect.

Health changes.
Rates increase.
Options shrink.

The women who regret it all say the same thing:
“I didn’t think I needed it yet.”

If you’re already thinking about it, you’re late enough.

01/27/2026

Most women think earning good money means their family is “covered.”

It doesn’t.

Income stops the moment you do.
Life insurance is what keeps your family standing when you can’t.

If you’re a Black woman with income but no clear protection plan, that’s a risk—not a strategy.

I break this down on clarity calls every week.

“Before the Holiday Hits…”

💛 Before next week becomes a whirlwind of cooking, hosting, traveling, and celebrating — pause for a moment.

Ask yourself:
âś” Am I protected if life shifts unexpectedly?
âś” Do I have a plan for retirement?
âś” Do I have the right amount of insurance in place?
âś” Is my legacy secured?

If any answer makes you unsure, that’s okay — you’re not alone.
And you don’t need to figure it all out before Thanksgiving…
You just need to start.

Let’s set you up for peace, clarity, and confidence before the holiday season truly begins.
📅 Book your Clarity Call this week — even one step forward is a win.
