🫵🏻 You’re not getting old. You’re just skipping the important work… After 30, my body felt worse every year. Despite going to the gym and staying “fit,” my back hurt worse, my shoulders hurt worse and the pain and stiffness progressed what seemed like every month. Just like you do, I would do little stretches before work, during work and sometimes after work, yet I still felt like doing labor was driving me straight to being crippled and immobile at a “young” age. All of sudden I began to remember all the times I was 20 something and older men would say “just wait till you get old like me.” Or “just wait till you hit (x) age.” And I didn’t believe them. But the truth is that your aches, pains and constant soreness are not directly because of your age. You change your truck’s oil every 3-5 thousand miles. You rotate your tires. But you don’t give your body the maintenance it needs. The harsh truth is it will take more time and effort than you think it will to feel better. It will be harder than you expect.
