Texas Medicare Lady here…happy to answer
any and all medicare-related questions at no cost. The goal is to educate and simplify.
MEDICARE Annual Election Period is in full swing (10/15-12/7). Medicare can be really confusing, advertising is relentless and it’s important to protect yourself from the rampant medicare scams (especially over the phone).
I am a broker/advocate and represent all the big name carriers you’re familiar with so by default I’m trained and knowledgeable in your plan and everything else Medicare that’s available in SE Texas.
A policy review is a pretty brilliant idea every November. Insurance carriers are competing for your business every year… it is capitalism at its finest. Frankly, some carriers thrive and profit off inertia and clients turning a blind eye. I have one carrier that happily charges premium when there is a newer plan that is zero-cost, same benefits. The carriers don’t say a word because the premium keeps rolling in.
Also, there are a lot of changes to many of the dental options available this year. Mostly good, some not so good.
Worst case you find out that you have selected the best plan for you or your loved ones. Best case we can drastically bring down prescription costs, co-pays or premium costs. As always, my advice and expertise is no cost to the client.
