📢 Important Medicare Update for 2026
Starting January 1, 2026, changes are coming to Medicare prescription drug coverage that may affect your out-of-pocket costs:
✅ Annual Out-of-Pocket Cap – The maximum you’ll pay for covered prescriptions will rise from $2,000 to $2,100. After this limit, your plan pays 100% of covered drug costs.
✅ Payment Plan Auto-Renewal – If you’re enrolled in the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (which lets you spread drug costs out monthly), it will now automatically renew each year unless you choose to opt out.
These changes affect:
Original Medicare (A + B) with Part D
Medicare Supplement (F, G, N, etc.) with Part D
Medicare Advantage plans that include Part D
👉 You can review your options during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15 – Dec 7, 2025) for coverage beginning Jan 1, 2026.
