What better way to cap off Weekend than with these “Road Grey” 11s, inspired by “The Toy Cannon” Jimmy Wynn 1969 away jersey.
Sometimes less is more. Just a couple simple flips on these: navy , navy sock liner and heat-sealed graphics on heel tab and tongue. My motto is always simple, yet clean...doesn’t look like a NASCAR billboard! Lol.

So I’ve got some good news and some bad news. Good news: If you’re tired of seeing this dope ass “Tequila Sunrise” AM97 design, you’re in luck! Bad news: If you LOVE this dope ass “Tequila Sunrise” AM97 design, you may not like this next part.
As of today, this design will be RETIRED. It was a tough decision, and as much as I (and y’all seem to) love this concept, it’s a little too tedious and labor intensive to do CORRECTLY, and unfortunately, is keeping me from putting out more, unique work. My problem, not yours, I know. And I apologize for the inconvenience. But this just means we can continue to create more one-of-a-kind customs that NO ONE else on the planet will have!
P.s. shout out for the badass Astrodome scoreboard tee.

$325 | BRAND NEW | MENS SIZE 10
I put to work on this one! I wanted to keep the mesh upper as factory soft as possibly, so I went with their Dye-na-Flow line to achieve the gradient “Tequila Sunrise” effect. This is a direct contrast from the more distinct, sharper lines of the AM97; hence why I call these the “Blurred Lines” 270s.
To give these some premium accents, I used a custom mixed Pearl Navy and Metallic Orange that were both matted out using Matte Sealer and Finisher. You’ve probably been seeing their work a lot lately. That’s because it’s a uperior product! And what’s best about it, is it’s airbrush ready and flows nice and evenly through your gun.

Remember kids, not quantity. To protect the synthetic 3M upper, I used Scratch Resistant Sealer and put it to the test. 9 thin coats later, you can clearly see the “force field” it created to protect against an X-ACTO knife...much less Mother Nature and normal wear.
