Our first official flip is well under way. We closed on the property March 17 and Jude, Aidan, and I began demo on March 21. Reno was officially begun by our contractor, Salgado Construction LLC, on March 31. So, here we are two weeks into it and they are trucking along and it’s looking amazing! Can’t wait to show you the finished product and more importantly, see who gets to call this place home soon! It’s been a HARD journey, not gonna lie. The tv shows are not real life, y’all! They show about 10% of the actual reality of doing this. I have been more stressed out and physically and emotionally taxed over the past few weeks than I have in a long, long time. I mean, moving my whole family overseas was easier than this, if that tells you anything. We have learned A LOT- things to do, and things not to do the next time around….IF there will be a next time. At this point I’m not sure 😅🤪🥵🤯😰🥴

Well, gosh. It's been a minute, but the Lord's timing ALWAYS works out and is so much better in the end. It's hard to believe, but we are finally under contract for our very first flip project. Only 3+ years later..... But, as I said, the Lord's timing is perfect and He knows what He is doing. This is His project and journey after all. He's the One who told us to do this so although we thought we were in control from the beginning, He was most likely just sitting back laughing and being patient with us. He's opened the door for our first project and we couldn't be happier, more excited, or more nervous! Photos to come as we obtain this property and get it under way for bringing new life to it!
