How do I find my plan ID?

If you had Marketplace coverage in 2014, and you want to keep your coverage for 2015, you’ll need to update your application and select a plan. If you want to keep the same plan you had last year, you’ll need to enter your 2015 plan ID to find and enroll in it.
Most plans’ ID numbers are the same in 2014 and 2015, but some may be different. It’s important to search for your plan ID to make sure you stay enrolled in the right plan.
When you’re re viewing the plans available in your area, you’ll see a box to the left of the screen that says “SEARCH BY PLAN ID.” You can find your 2015 plan ID in 3 ways:
Look at your plan materials. You should have a letter from your plan telling you about changes for next year. This letter includes your current plan’s name and the 14-digit plan ID number for 2015.
Call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596. TTY users should call 1-855-889-4325.
Find it on HealthCare.gov. To do this:
Select your profile name at the top of the screen.
Select “My Applications & Coverage.”
Choose your application for 2014.
Select “My Plans & Programs” on the left.
Look for the plan name. The 2014 plan ID is the combination of numbers and/or letters after the plan name. Write down the 2014 plan ID.
Go back, and select your 2015 application through the “View all applications” link on the top right. Remember, some plan IDs may be different in 2015.
What if my plan ID isn’t valid?
If you follow the steps above and enter your plan ID into the “SEARCH BY PLAN ID” box, you may get a message that your plan couldn’t be found. If this happens, you may not be able to enroll in the same plan. You can choose a new plan, call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596, or double check your 2015 plan ID.
Double check your 2015 plan ID
If you followed the steps above to look up your 2014 plan ID, you can double check your 2015 plan ID by using the quick plan look up tool. To use this tool, enter your 2014 plan ID. The tool will give you 2015 information about your current plan, including the 2015 plan ID.
If you still can’t find your plan after entering the 2015 plan ID in the search box then you may not be to enroll in the same plan. You can choose a new plan, or call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596 for help.
