Stop neglecting to save your receipts.

Receipts under $75 may not be required by the IRS but it is always best practice to save them anyway. It creates the habit for the larger receipts it also provides a paper trail in case of an audit. Believe it or not those little purchases add up and may be to be explained as some point in the life of your business.

A good way to organize and store receipts is by using a digital platform like QuickBooks who has a receipt feature or Hubdoc. You can also snap a picture and upload them to Google drive or Drop box in a shared file with you accountant/bookkeeper .
