Open Enrollment begins November 1st, 2025, and we want to ensure you’re fully prepared to make the best decision for your health coverage.

Here are a few important updates to keep in mind:

✅ If you currently have a private plan thru our agency,
No action is needed at this time—your coverage will continue as usual.

⚠️ If you have an ACA (Marketplace) plan:
This year, you must actively re-enroll to maintain your benefits. If you don’t, you could lose your current coverage.

Due to the government shutdown, it’s still unclear whether subsidy eligibility (government financial assistance) will be affected. That’s why it’s crucial to schedule a quick call with us after November 1st. We’ll review your options and provide the most up-to-date guidance based on the latest information available.

***Important ACA/Marketplace Update****

If you lose health coverage through your employer and want to enroll in an ACA Marketplace plan, you’ll now be required to provide proof that you lost your employer coverage. Your ACA plan won’t start until the paperwork is submitted and approved. The Marketplace gives you 30 days to provide it, but your plan will remain pending until then so you can't use it.

The same applies if you recently received a green card or moved to the U.S. from another country—you must proof of that before your coverage becomes active.

This is a big change because prior to these changes, people could enroll in coverage, use it while waiting to submit supporting documentation. For more questions text 346 298 2119

Aetna will no longer offer plans on the ACA Marketplace starting in 2026.
This means that if you currently have an Aetna Marketplace plan, it will not automatically roll over into 2026. Unlike past years, passive enrollment will not be available.

👉 What this means for you:

Your current Aetna plan will end on December 31, 2025.
You will need to actively select a new plan during Open Enrollment for 2026.
If you do not enroll in another plan, you could lose coverage for the new year.
